Why Vote for Gino?

Vote for better protection of the SANCTITY of Life!
Gino is a strong proponent of the sanctity of life and throughout his legal career has worked for the protection of the innocent unborn. With President Trump’s recent appointment of Neil Gorsuch to the U.S. Supreme Court the court is now just one vote shy of a reversal of Roe v. Wade. With the expected retirement of Judge Anthony Kennedy in the near future, President Trump’s next appointment to the court may very well provide the margin needed to protect our unborn children at last. That is but one reason why Gino supports President Trump.
vote for better HealthCare
Gino understands that accessible, affordable health care is vital to the well-being of all families. He also understands that the health care industry is responsible for much of the wealth of Williamson County. The proper role of government is to promote an economic environment that allows a robust, free-market system of health care and health care insurance that affords maximum flexibility and affordability to all families. Gino will work hard to see that the choices families have in the selection of health care and health care plans continue to grow.
vote for better PROTECTion of THE 10th Amendment
Our Founders created a Constitution that vested the federal government with limited powers, reserving all other powers to the states and the people. The principal function of the federal government is to keep America safe and free. The federal government must not, however, be permitted to intrude upon the powers reserved to the states and the people under the Tenth Amendment. Over the last 50 years, the federal government has ballooned into a bureaucracy that spends more than $4 Trillion per year. This expansion of the scope and cost of the federal government is unsustainable and needs to end. We need legislators at the state level who have the courage and ability to use the Tenth Amendment to rein in runaway federal spending.
vote for better Fiscal Responsibility
The Swamp is not being drained. In fact, it is getting deeper. The Republican-controlled House and Senate with significant Democratic support just passed a federal budget that increases spending by $300 Billion per year. The annual federal deficit is now projected to increase to more than $1 Trillion in 2019. Our federal government has demonstrated its inability to behave in a fiscally responsible manner. It’s time for Tennessee’s General Assembly, and the legislatures of our sister states, to prevent the federal government from bankrupting our great country. We need a state representative who will shine the spotlight on politicians of both parties in Washington who lack the courage to balance the federal budget.
vote for better JOB creation
Gino, as an owner of a small business, knows well that a growing economy is indispensable to the prosperity of those who are fortunate to call Williamson County home. He’ll fight unnecessary governmental regulation so that high-paying, highly skilled jobs in the service and manufacturing sectors of our economy continue to grow, and allow all families to participate in the American dream of home ownership and economic security.
vote for better Education
Gino understands parents want and children deserve the best possible education. Each child is unique. Each has unique educational needs. Our system of education should recognize that a child’s parents are in the best position to understand the educational needs of the child and should maximize the choices available to parents in the education of their children. Gino will work to see that our state, through its policies and funding, appreciates the indispensable role that parents play in the education of their children and supports giving them the greatest number of options for their child’s education.
Vote for better PROTECTion of THE 2nd Amendment
Another reason why Gino supports the President is because he, like Gino, is a strong proponent of the Second Amendment. “As a Constitutional lawyer, I like all the Amendments,” laughs Gino, “but I am particularly fond of the 2nd and the 10th.”
The Second Amendment codified the right of the people to “keep and bear arms,” a right that is older than our nation. Gino will work tirelessly to ensure that activist judges will not destroy individual freedoms for which so many Americans have fought and died over the last 250 years.
The Tenth Amendment reserves numerous rights to the states and the people as protection against the federal government’s encroachment and over-reach. “Over regulation and abusive interference into the conduct of our local affairs has been the calling card of Washington for too long. It’s time we told Washington: ‘Enough.’”
